Over the Bed: A Little Book About Things That Dwell (2018)
Flash Fiction Collection (on Amazon in Kindle and paperback)

"Over the Bed: A Little Book About Things That Dwell" is a compendium of brief, dreamlike tales from the worlds just next door to our own. From recipes for immortality to the shape of the world's edge, this little book contains everything that slips through the cracks when we wake up - gathered into a line-up of bite-sized stories that bite back. Eerie, heartfelt, and personal, this collection invites to look through the dark for the things that scare us, things that heal us, and things that watch us sleep.

"In the night-dark world of Leo Lion's Over the Bed, cave walls bear markings of pointless hope, ashes mark dark doings, and ceilings are really windows into the depths of the soul. This collection of deep musings is as eclectic and gripping as any I have ever read. Some will make you shudder, some will stun, but all will make you think. None will disappoint!"
- Teel James Glenn, author of The Clockwork NutcrackerShadows of New York and other works

"Populated with faeries, circus performers, the old, the sleepless, the young, the brave, and the grieving, Over the Bed offers thirty-two wise and beautiful nuggets of prose. Leo Lion's flash-fiction collection shows an impressive imagination and a voice that is poetic and powerful. Definitely a debut author to be watched."
- Joanne Rendell, author of The Professors' Wives' ClubCrossing Washington Square, and Out of the Shadows
