LEO LION, PROFESSIONAL GAME HOST
I run professional sessions for roleplaying games including Dungeons & Dragons 5e, Fiasco, Kids on Bikes hacks, Dread, and others. I host both in-person and online for players of all ages and experience levels, and am a proud member of the Game Master rosters at CAST PARTY RPG and LAST PLACE ON EARTH, BROOKLYN.
My motto is “surprise yourself!” If you’re looking for your RPG session to feel like living in an episode of a bingeable Netflix show, I’m your guy. As a theatre director and improv coach, I love to help a group of storytellers tap into their natural narrative chemistry. My specialty is running theatrical, genre-rich storytelling sessions with social intrigue, immersive action/combat, and engaging, player-informed worldbuilding.
My sessions are new player-friendly, with a lot of reskinning and homebrew to personalize the playing experience. I run a few homebrew settings of my own, but also often adapt to a playgroup’s interests — so let me know what you’re picturing, and let’s find the story together.

★★★★★ I played a one shot with Leo in June 2025, and it was one of my favorite one shots ever.
Leo is funny, great with the mechanics of the game (D&D 5e), and let us be the weirdos that we truly are. The story of the one shot had good twists and turns, was challenging from both a combat and role play perspective, and overall was a hoot to play through. 11/10, would play with him again.

★★★★★️️️️️ “Run, Simulacrum, Run!” Was Absolute Chaos—and I Loved Every Second
I joined the one-shot "Run, Simulacrum, Run!" not knowing what to expect, and I walked away with one of the most unforgettable D&D experiences I’ve ever had. This session was packed with surreal twists, explosive moments, and just the right amount of madness to keep every second wildly entertaining.
The DM’s storytelling was razor-sharp, reactive, and dripping with creativity. Every moment had weight, every encounter had flavor, and somehow it all made twisted sense.
If you ever get the chance to play in “Run, Simulacrum, Run!” or anything by this DM—RUN (don’t walk) and sign up. It’s the kind of game that reminds you why you fell in love with tabletop RPGs in the first place.

★★★★★ Played in my first Cast Party one shot last night! Leo is a megastar DM.
Truly unique and exciting homebrew adventure, evocative narration, collaborative and engaging gameplay, GREAT npc voices. Best Father's Day gift ever! I'll definitely be looking out for another game... thanks again Leo!
MY ORIGINAL ADVENTURES

"Run, Simulacrum, Run!" is an original adventure for Dungeons & Dragons 5e (4-6 players). As a party of heroic adventurers completes their latest quest, some wrinkles in their comfortable reality reveal that everything is not as it seems. Fans of Severance, The Truman Show, Maniac, and other mindbending thrillers will love this whimsical world-hopping escape from the grip of a mysterious illusory world.

"A Dogwall Holiday" is an original adventure for Dungeons & Dragons 5e (4-6 players). The arcane streetlights watch snowfall turning to ash in Dogwall, the shady district of a magical metropolis. As adventurers-for-hire, your team is pulled into a twisting case that reeks of frost and blood. An urban fantasy noir of dark alleys, sharp blades, and ice cold crime.

"Storm the Frosthold" is an original adventure for Dungeons & Dragons 5e (4-6 players). The Frostfather’s fortress looms over the winterlands, hoarding treasures of myth and magic. Your crew of mercenaries has one job: storm the gates, survive the chaos, and rob the jolly tyrant blind. A whimsical heist-rampage where you absolutely can kill Santa.

"Enter the Smelter" is an original adventure for Dungeons & Dragons 5e (4-6 players). The old sea-songs tell of a place where a pirate can change their fate -- a perilous cave where, for the right price, all your bloody rotten sins can be absolved. After this voyage, your life will change forever, provided you live long enough to see the end.
